The horse riding tour starts at our stables on the hilltop of Vlychada and goes through the volcanic canyons and cliffs created by the great Minoan volcanic eruption then reaching the black lava stones on the famous Black Sandy Beaches (Eros beach) whilst admiring the white hills of Vlychada created by the volcanic ash. After the “Beach experience” we head to the west part of the island to discover the traditional settlement of Megalochori village to see several blue dome churches which are so famous in Santorini. Continuing through the extensive vineyards of the island which surround the village, the tour will take you to the other side of the village where we reach the famous Caldera cliff side of Santorini which is carved by lava. On this amazing cliffside we have the breathtaking view of the volcano crater and the surrounding islands.
