Your guide/instructor will ensure the ride is relaxing, as you and the exquisite horse ride together and experience the island’s south historical volcanic paths. The horse riding tour starts at our stables on the hilltop of Vlychada and goes through the volcanic canyons and cliffs created by the great Minoan volcanic eruption. We will then walk along the famous Black Sandy Beaches on black lava stones (Eros beach) whilst admiring the white hills of Vlychada created by the volcanic ash. After the “Beach experience” we head west to the part of the island where we will discover the traditional settlement of Megalochori village to see several blue dome churches which are so famous in Santorini. Continuing on our walk through the extensive vineyards of the island that surrounds the village, we will then come to the famous Caldera cliff side of Santorini. On this amazing cliffside we have the breathtaking view of the volcano crater and the surrounding islands.
